The announcement of Glassdoor’s buyout by the parent company of Indeed is making a big splash across the recruiting industry, but is not expected to affect talent acquisition professionals very much—at least in the short term. Pricing for employers is expected to continue to go up for both services, but longer-term, the integration of the two marquee platforms may lead to price breaks and more reach, the elimination of duplicative offerings and Indeed becoming the destination for managing employer brand.
