#4 – “A Benihana Christmas” (Season 3, Episode 10)

This one may not be a traditional holiday episode, but it’s still full of festive cheer (and a lot of tequila). The gang heads to Benihana for a company holiday party, where they get tipsy and make some questionable decisions (like Michael (Steve Carell) and Andy (Ed Helms) singing a duet of “I Will Survive” in full karaoke mode). Bonus points for the appearance of the “Benihana Christmas” song, which will be stuck in your head for days.

#3 – “Christmas Party” (Season 2, Episode 10)

This episode is a fan favorite, and for good reason. It’s got all the classic “Office” elements – awkward social interactions, ridiculous party games, and a whole lot of Kevin (Brian Baumgartner) eating. But the real highlight is the “Secret Santa” gift exchange, in which Jim gets Dwight a “World’s Best Boss” mug and Dwight gets Jim a teapot (that he thinks is a “terrible” gift, but secretly loves).

This episode may be a divisive one, but we’ve got to give it props for sheer originality. Dwight (Rainn Wilson) takes over the office holiday party and transforms it into a Schrute-ified version of a traditional Pennsylvania Dutch Christmas, complete with log sawing, straw ornaments, and a yule log made out of beets. It’s a wacky and unique take on the holidays, and a must-see for any “Office” fan.

Our top pick for the best “Office” Christmas episode has to be “A Very Sunny Christmas.” It’s got everything you could want in a holiday episode – holiday cheer, family drama, and plenty of ridiculousness. The episode follows the gang as they prepare for a “Christmas special” episode of “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia,” complete with a hilarious scene in which they recreate the “12 Days of Christmas” using only items from the office supply closet. It’s a hilarious and heartwarming episode that will have you singing along (to a “modified” version of the “12 Days of Christmas”) all season long.
