The interviews are over and you have zeroed in on the right candidate, now the last task in the process is the job offer letter. Mostly, the offer is made verbally after a successful job interview or over a telephone call. But it is prudent to follow it up with a formal letter.
A letter of employment enumerates what entails the position that a person has finally been selected for after a long process. It is a legal document that generally is biased towards the employer.
A job offer should clearly state the following
10.Notice period

Some job offers are simple statements of intent with job title, description and salary stated. If this is the case, then on acknowledgement of the offer, make sure that you clarify company policies on benefits, termination, confidentiality and leaves. And hand out the same in written format later.
A clear communication on all terms of employment can save both the parties from any disputes and fallouts later.
