IRS Prepares to Send ACA Penalty Letters by Year’s End

The IRS announced it will soon send out penalty notices to employers subject to the Affordable Care Act (ACA) that failed to provide ACA-compliant coverage to full-time employees. Employers that receive a penalty letter will have just 30 days to respond before the IRS demands payment.
