New CDC Guidance for Employers Reflects Evolving Knowledge of Coronavirus

There are updated guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) for cleaning and disinfecting a workplace after an employee is diagnosed with COVID-19, the respiratory disease caused by the coronavirus. Among the new tips: If a contaminated area has been closed for seven days or more, there’s no need for a special cleaning.
