U.S. Employers Add 128,000 Jobs in October

U.S. employers added 128,000 jobs in October, according to the latest Bureau of Labor Statistics report, a larger increase than economists expected. The unemployment rate rose slightly to 3.6 percent from 3.5 percent in September, which had been the lowest rate since 1969. Data released by ADP and Moody’s Analytics earlier this week shows private-sector employment rose by 125,000 jobs last month.
