GOP Rolls Out ‘New Parents Act’ to Provide Paid Family Leave

The Republican measure would create a voluntary option for paid parental leave by allowing parents to use a portion of their Social Security after the birth or adoption of a child. It joins other recently introduced paid family bills that Congress is considering.
