Texas Passes Ban on Texting While Driving

On June 6, Texas became the 47th state to enact a statewide ban on texting while driving. Employers in the state should carefully evaluate existing policies and the nature of their workplace to ensure that there are no practices that encourage the use of hand-held devices while driving.
