California’s Recent Budget Makes Labor and Employment Policy Changes

The California Legislature has passed and sent to Gov. Jerry Brown a $184.5 billion budget for fiscal year 2017-18. “Trailer bills” that accompany the main budget bill would make several changes relevant to California employers. Here are a few of the anticipated changes.
