Employer-Provided Birth Control Coverage Continues To Decline

The share of employers that say they provide contraceptive coverage has declined since 2014, a survey by the Society for Human Resource Management shows. While what this finding reveals may not be as clear-cut as it at first seems, it’s a reminder to weigh whether making changes to benefits packages could have a negative impact on retention and recruitment of employees.
