Law Exempts Airline Crew from California Meal and Rest Break Requirements

Gov. Newsom signed Senate Bill 41, which provides that California’s meal and rest period requirements do not apply to airline cabin crew employees if they are covered by a valid collective bargaining agreement under the Railway Labor Act.
