Denial of Job Transfer Might Be Challenged as Discriminatory

Employers cannot discriminate with respect to the terms, conditions, or privileges of one’s employment because of one’s sex. A plaintiff might not need an ultimate employment decision to establish the claim. The denial of a job transfer can support a discrimination claim under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964.
