Senate Confirms Marine Corps’ First Black, Female Two-Star General

In December, the U.S. Senate confirmed Marine Corps Maj. Gen. Lorna Mahlock to the rank of two-star general. The confirmation makes Mahlock the highest ranking Black, female officer in the history of the Marine Corps.
