Updating the SHRM Talent Acquisition Specialty Credential

The increasing significance of talent acquisition prompted SHRM to create the Talent Acquisition Specialty Credential in 2018, and the continued evolution of the field led to an update for 2022. The growth of virtual recruiting (especially as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic) and recognition of the importance of diversity, equity and inclusion were among several catalysts for undertaking a modernization of the credential.
