Biden to Require Private Employers With 100 or More Employees to Mandate Vaccinations or Frequent Testing

​President Joe Biden is expected to unveil an executive order in a speech later today that requires all federal workers and government contractors to be vaccinated against COVID-19. This step expands on the president’s July requirement that provided regular testing as an acceptable option to vaccination, and is likely one of several executive orders issued today in the administration’s continuing battle against the coronavirus. Biden also is expected to urge private employers to take steps to encourage vaccinations among their employees.
