DOL Delays Portions of Tip-Sharing Rule

The Department of Labor (DOL) delayed portions of a final rule on tip sharing, including provisions on employer penalties. The remainder of the rule is effective April 30 and bans employers from keeping workers’ tips, regardless of whether the employer takes a tip credit.
