Employees in 2021 can again put up to $2,750 into their health care flexible spending accounts (health FSAs), pretax, through payroll deduction, the IRS has announced. The maximum carryover amount for 2021 is $550, an increase of $50 from the origianl 2020 limit, which was raised to $550 midyear as part of COVID-19 relief. Benefit limits for adoption assistance, transit benefits, and qualified small employer HRAs were also announced.
