Weekly Jobless Claims Drop Slightly

States reported that 411,000 workers filed for new unemployment benefits during the week ending June 19, a decrease of 7,000 from the previous week’s revised level. The total number of workers continuing to claim state unemployment benefits fell to 3.3 million, the lowest level since March 21, 2020, when 3.1 million workers claimed unemployment.
