Walmart Attributes Higher Starting Wage, Expanded Benefits to Tax Reform

Walmart, the largest private employer in the U.S., announced it will raise the minimum wage it pays its employees to $11 dollars an hour and expand paid parental leave to its full-time hourly workers as a result of the lower corporate tax rate that took effect under the tax reform law.
