Virginia Responds to W-2 Phishing Scams with Notice Requirement

In light of an IRS warning and a Virginia Wesleyan College phishing scam, Gov. Terry McAuliffe approved a first of its kind amendment to Virginia’s data breach notification statute, which will take effect on July 1.
