USCIS Proposes Changes to H-1B Visa Lottery

​U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) has proposed changing how each year’s limited number of H-1B visa petitions are chosen. The agency wants to reverse current practice and hold a lottery first to randomly select applicants, then have employers file their petitions for visas.
