In Focus: Millennials Putting Off Marriage, Kids, Census Bureau Finds

Millennial women are taking longer to get married and have children than women of previous generations, according to a 2017 Census Bureau report. However, another report from sociologists has found that while Millennials still support opportunities for women working outside the home, they also are embracing traditional attitudes about male breadwinners, female homemakers and male authority in the home.
