House Republicans, Short of Votes, Withdraw Health Care Bill

After several hours of debate on Friday, President Donald Trump asked House GOP leaders to withdraw the American Health Care Act from consideration, in a dramatic acknowledgement that House leaders were unable to find sufficient votes to repeal and replace the Affordable Care Act.
