First Circuit Upholds Federal Pre-Emption of Massachusetts Wage Act Claims

The First U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals upheld the dismissal of a lawsuit alleging that an employer failed to pay wages in accordance with Massachusetts law. The court held that the Labor Management Relations Act pre-empted the plaintiff’s wage claims.
