Even Absent a Mandate, Workplace Health Benefits Are Here to Stay

Why would roughly 4 million more Americans lack health coverage next year if the Senate health care bill passes? Mostly, the falloff would result from employee’s opting out of coverage, but some employers would likely alter their plans to exclude some classes of workers who now must be enrolled.
