Decision to Lay Off Employee Who Was on FMLA Leave Upheld

An employee on leave covered by the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) is entitled to no more job protection in a reduction in force than any other employee, ruled the 8th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals.
