Court Rules Free Speech Rights Supersede LGBTQ+ Protections

The U.S. Supreme Court issued its final decision in a case that determines how anti-discrimination laws apply when they conflict with religious freedoms in public accommodations.
In 303 Creative v. Elenis, the main question was whether an artist or creative business can refuse to sell goods or services to LGBTQ couples or other groups of people, if doing so contradicts the business owner’s religious beliefs.
