City of New York Takes Innovative Approach to HR and EEO Practices

When the City of New York’s Department of Citywide Administrative Services noticed that many of the city’s SHRM-certified HR and EEO practitioners were often racing to attend conferences or sit in on webinars to gain the professional development credits required to maintain their SHRM credentials, the department took the lead to resolve the issue—and further invest in its employees—by becoming a SHRM Recertification Provider itself.
