Can an Employee Take FMLA Leave to Care for a Sibling?

Family and Medical Care Act (FMLA) leave generally excludes care for a sibling—unless employees can show that they’ll have day-to-day responsibility for and will financially support the sibling in the same way a parent would provide for a child.
