California Labor Commissioner Clarifies COVID-19 Paid-Sick-Leave Rules

California employers initially were faced with uncertainty as to whether their employees’ leave requests qualified under the COVID-19 supplemental paid-sick-leave law. The Labor Commissioner’s Office recently updated its FAQs to provide further clarity.
